Of Ruffians and What They Said…

They told her look out

For yourself whilst you can.

For once her burning eyes ignite

His smoulders to fire

Her decision would cease to count.

They told her of the deaths undignified

And of his wrath unsurpassed.

The hushed voices resonate

Praying for her soul

Whilst her fate’s being dealt,alas!

And as the highlands come forth

She braceth for the unknown

Baffled..

They’d called him a ruffian , merciless

So why was he heeding to her wounds
They’d called him vile and uncompassionate

So why was he soothing her swoons
Absorbing her screams when he should’ve caused them

Afraid of him? Nay, he’s her gentle warrior

And the bride his guardian angel.

So as the topaz drowns into the blue

The distant blabber grows insignificant

To this new found passion brewed.

The end .

( a note to myself when I read this later and think ..what the hell!this is so not me!)

The product when you read too much of Julie Garwood. She just captures your mind until you are transported into a world of hot Highlanders and damsels with a killer attitude. I had to acknowledge this amazing author. Not necessarily do a good job though.

(no,you won’t regret this!)
